Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of veritasglobalservices.com (the "Site") and the offshore accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax-preparation, and controller services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Veritas Global Accounting Services ("Veritas," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

All Service engagements are governed by an executed engagement letter or statement of work that defines scope, deliverables, pricing, turnaround times, and responsibilities. In the event of conflict between these Terms and the engagement letter, the engagement letter prevails for engagement-specific matters.

Veritas operates as an independent offshore service partner. We do not provide legal, audit-attestation, or licensed CPA opinions. Final responsibility for tax filings, audit sign-off, and statutory compliance rests with the client and/or the client's licensed CPA of record.

To enable accurate and timely delivery, the client agrees to:

• Provide complete, accurate, and timely access to source documents, accounting platforms, and authorized contacts.
• Designate a primary point of contact for review and approval of deliverables.
• Notify Veritas of any changes in scope, systems, ownership, or compliance requirements.
• Maintain proper backups of source records under the client's custody.

Fees are set out in the applicable engagement letter. Unless otherwise stated, invoices are issued monthly and payable within fifteen (15) days of issuance. Veritas reserves the right to suspend Services for accounts more than thirty (30) days past due, after written notice.

All quoted fees exclude applicable taxes, third-party software costs, and out-of-pocket expenses, which will be billed at cost.

Veritas treats all client information as strictly confidential. Every team member signs a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement before any engagement begins. We maintain enterprise-grade physical, technical, and administrative safeguards aligned with GDPR principles, SOC 2 controls, and U.S. data protection best practices, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

All Site content — including text, graphics, logos, design elements, and software — is the property of Veritas Global Accounting Services or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Deliverables prepared specifically for a client under an engagement become the client's property upon full payment, except for Veritas-owned templates, methodologies, and know-how, which remain the property of Veritas.

When using the Site or Services, you agree not to:

• Engage in unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Site's operation.
• Submit false, misleading, or infringing information.

The Site and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veritas disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veritas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the Site or Services. Veritas's total aggregate liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client to Veritas during the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veritas, its officers, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Site or Services, or (c) inaccurate or incomplete information you provide to us.

Either party may terminate an engagement in accordance with the notice provisions in the engagement letter. Veritas may suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time without notice for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, all outstanding fees become immediately due.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and failing resolution, by binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction as agreed in the applicable engagement letter.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes constitutes acceptance.
